MY intentions for stellarputtogethers.wordpress, the blog, was to use it as a test run for StellarPuttogethers.com, the website (which I’m in the midst of building still). Basically, what you see on this blog is a years worth of self-taught photography and photoshop. Which, yes, would explain a few things…
StellarPutTogethers.com will be a full-on shopping and styling experience website. I will be featuring new trends, and all different ways to wear them. The best part is, you will have the capability to purchase all of the outfits that you see.

Pantone has officially declared the official color of 2011 as HONEYSUCKLE. Of course I couldn’t resist putting together some outfits with this color. enjoy.

A little over a year ago, I posted sequin shorts as the first trend on Stellar Put Togethers. In celebration of Stellar’s one year birthday (hooray!!), I decided to shoot a second round of sequin shorts (after all, it is hard to get sick of these spectacular shorts). I also wanted to capture the progress I’ve made in only one year.
I started out taking these pictures in my loft apartment when I was a student living in Boston. I literally had NO photography experience other than your typical tourist snapshots and bar photos with a pocket camera. When that camera died, I upgraded to a fancy Canon S90 (a cross between an SLR and pocket camera. and no, I was not paid to say that). With the help of MANY friends and photographers I was seeing my pictures get better and better.
I still have a lot to achieve in the world of photography, but thankfully, I am a STYLIST, not a photographer. With that said, I am super excited to see what these photos are going to look like a year from now (and yes, I probably will do sequin shorts round III).

One year ago, this week, I posted Stellar Put Togethers’ first trend. In celebration of, I have re-created the first trend as a thanks to everyone who has helped out. Whether it be models, photoshop, photography, advice, comments or support, I have had a whole crew of people chip in their talents to improve the quality of my images and blog as a whole.
